Recognition & Appreciation

Dakota State University gratefully acknowledges the generous support of alumni, friends and organizations who advance achievement in education by making outright and or/deferred gifts. 

The university has established recognition societies to thank these donors and to promote the importance of philanthropy at Dakota State.  The Philanthropist of the Year award honors donors who inspire others with their generosity and willingness to support DSU.  

Annual and lifetime donors are recognized at the Legends and Legacy Banquet, held in conjunction with the spring meeting of the Foundation Board of Directors.
