Welcome from the DSU Foundation Chair

I am pleased to serve as the chair of the Dakota State University Foundation Board of Trustees and would like to thank my predecessor, Dr. Jerald Tunheim, and all the trustees on the board for the collegiality that makes this job such a pleasure. With their support and with the leadership of Foundation President Chris Giles and DSU President Dr. Doug Knowlton we are making strides in securing the position of the university for the future.

The purpose of the DSU Foundation is to quite simply support the mission of Dakota State University. This is done by drawing on the broad constituencies of DSU for gifts of time, advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropy. The Foundation is meant to be the “front porch” for DSU for the individuals, corporations, and foundations who believe in what we are trying to achieve here and investing in ways most suitable to them.
